The
Agora
UPDATE The Agora (marketplace) was the hub of ancient Athens. Overlooked by prestigious political, legal, and religious centres (Assembly, Areopagus and Acropolis), Agora-people ate and drank, haggled and whored, speculated and expended themselves in all manner of human intercourse. Before the Theatre of Dionysus was built, it was the Agora that hosted the city's dramatic performances. Now Didaskalia invites students, teachers, researchers and performers of ancient Greek and Roman drama and its reception into The Agora, informally to exchange ideas, questions, materials, and to create new connections. Welcome to The Agora!
