1. Electra was performed in the Templemore Sport Stadium, Derry between 5-8th February, 1992. The period was marked by two particularly brutal sectarian massacres. In the week prior to the performance, eight Protestant building workers had been murdered. During the week of the performances, nine, mostly Catholic people were gunned down in retaliation.
