Peter Toohey is Professor and Head of the Department of Greek and Roman Studies at the University of Calgary. A fomer co-editor of Electronic Antiquity: Communicating the Classics, he also acted as Associate Editor of Didaskalia during the early days of the journal. His most recent publication is Melancholy, Love, and Time: Boundaries of the Self in Ancient Literature (UMP: 2004).
